Before Your Event

  • Initial consultation with couple to obtain information regarding wedding details (in person or over the phone)
  • Unlimited phone and email availability
  • At least two wedding planning meetings between couple and wedding planner
  • Assistance with site tours, selection and booking of wedding ceremony and/or reception venue
  • Assistance with design - selecting color scheme, theme or style of the wedding, ensuring all design is cohesive and speaks to the couple’s style
  • Wedding etiquette advice
  • Assist in contacting, negotiating, and booking qualified remaining vendors. All appointments will be scheduled for the couple and planner will accompany up to two meetings per vendor category, if needed.
  • Assistance with selection of invitations, place cards, menus, if needed
  • Monthly check ins to ensure all planning tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • One hour phone meeting to discuss timeline and decor checklist details
  • Compose rehearsal and wedding day timeline to be provided to all vendors
  • Prepare detailed decor checklist to ensure proper set up
  • Final walk-through with couple at ceremony and reception location the month of the wedding
  • Final collection of wedding decor at rehearsal, to be set up on wedding day
  • Attendance and direction of the wedding rehearsal

Day of Event

  • Up to twelve hours on your wedding day attending, overseeing and directing ceremony and reception
  • Provide a wedding day emergency kit
  • Receive deliveries and greet vendors
  • Confirm wedding ceremony and reception locations are set up as detailed in decor checklist
  • Ensure proper placement of personal items such as programs, table numbers, menus, etc.
  • Assist with distribution of personal flowers
  • Coordinate processional line up and cue bridal party to walk down the aisle, ensuring flowers are held correctly and timing is perfect
  • Direct guests to cocktail hour after the ceremony
  • Ensure proper announcements are being made by DJ: grand entrance, first dance, etc.
  • Confirm all events are running on schedule
  • Distribute final payments and gratuities, as needed
  • Collection of all cards and gifts received to be delivered to pre-arranged location
  • Ensure all wedding decor is gathered at the end of the evening
  • Prevent and resolve any conflicts that may arise
